What makes MELLO cutting boards different?

Are Mello boards food-safe?
Yes. All materials are FDA-approved, food-grade and safe for daily meal prep.
Will my board get knife marks?
Yes, this is completely normal. MELLO boards are knife-friendly, meaning the surface protects your knives. Light scratches or marks may occur over time with regular use.
Can I place hot pans on my Mello board?
No. Avoid placing hot pans, pots or appliances directly onto the board as high heat may cause melting or warping.
Are Mello boards dishwasher-safe?
Yes. Our boards are dishwasher-safe up to 80°C. For best longevity, we recommend placing them in the top rack or hand washing.
How do I deep clean my Mello board?
Once a month:
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp baking soda + 1 tbsp salt.
- Scrub with half a lemon.
- Let it sit for 3 minutes.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly.
This keeps your board fresh, clean and odorless.
